Kharakternyk — A Knife with the Soul of a Warrior

Among the ancient Ukrainians, these were the kharakternyk’s — warriors capable of not only fighting but also influencing the course of history with their mere presence. They possessed deep knowledge of nature, strength and even magic. It is from this very source that the Kharakternyk knife draws its inspiration, created in collaboration with the legendary American knife designer Robert Terzuola, a true authority in the world of blades.
Two Handle Configurations
The Kharakternyk knife comes with two handle configurations: one with a guard for enhanced safety and stability during intensive use, and one without a guard for a sleeker, more compact profile. This flexibility allows users to adapt the knife to their specific needs and preferred style of use. The set includes additional Micarta handle scales for personalized customization. Each knife is supplied with a complete set of hardware, including spare screws and a hex key, making it easy to modify or switch handle components to suit individual preferences.

The blade material is high-carbon steel D2. D2 steel is known for its ability to withstand high loads, maintain its cutting ability for extended periods, and resist quick wear. The blade length is 145 mm — the perfect size for a wide range of tasks. The steel hardness is around 60-61 HRC. This level of hardness ensures excellent wear resistance and the retention of cutting power even under intense use.

Additionally, the sheath is compatible with the Tek-Lok attachment system. This versatile attachment, included in the set, allows for safe mounting of the knife on belts, gear, or MOLLE platforms.
